Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Document Controller to manage document management activities on a major infrastructure project. This role suits professionals who have worked on large-scale international projects and are confident leading document control strategy and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute project-specific document control plans
Ensure document outputs meet quality, budget, and timeline goals
Liaise with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve documentation issues
Manage distribution and review of engineering and supplier documentation
Maintain key registers including the Master Document Register
Track document control performance and reporting metrics
Oversee SDRLs, document releases, and audits
Train and support document control team members
Identify and drive improvements to systems and processes
Champion the use of EDMS platforms and ensure best practice
Required Experience and Skills:
Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
6-10 years in document management with 5+ in a lead/supervisory role
Experienced with EDMS tools (e.g. SharePoint, Documentum)
Skilled in developing workflows, procedures, and compliance standards
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
