DOCUMENT CONTROLLER - CONTRACT – NORTH WALES

Our client, a global leader in engineering and major project construction for the energy and infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Document Controller for a Decommissioning and Carbon Capture and Storage Project in North Wales.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8-10 years of experience managing technical and engineering documentation, preferably in a construction site environment or similar.
  • Basic industrial knowledge with the ability to understand the purpose of each document.

JOB SCOPE

Reporting to the Document Controller Manager, you will be part of the Liverpool Bay Project (Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage). Your role involves analyzing and managing document processes in line with client procedures, monitoring resources, and liaising with Document Controllers, Function Representatives, and Document Service Assistants involved in the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely transmission of technical documents between the client and Saipem, such as progress reports and engineering drawings.
  • Assist in project organization and logistics, supporting the Project Manager with risk and opportunity management.
  • Establish and maintain document management processes, including tracking project progress, workflows, templates, and compliance.
  • Control and monitor the documentation lifecycle, including client approvals, submissions, correctness, and linkages to related activities.
  • Oversee the final documentation handover to the client, ensuring knowledge retention and best practices.
  • Provide support and training on Document Management Tools and procedures, including help desk services and remote site assistance.
  • Manage reporting and data activities, organize registers, master data lists, and progress/control reports.

RATE: Please quote your desired limited company hourly rate.

DURATION: Starting November 2025.

WORK PATTERN: On-site work 5.5 days per week.
