The Role:
As Document Controller, you will:
- Manage and maintain the project document control system, ensuring all documents are accurately recorded, stored, and readily accessible.
- Receive, register, distribute, and track all project documents, including drawings, specifications, correspondence, reports, and other relevant information.
- Implement and maintain document control procedures in accordance with company and project requirements.
- Manage electronic document control systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint, etc.).
- Maintain a comprehensive document register and version control system.
- Assist in the preparation of document packages for client submissions and internal review.
- Ensure the timely distribution of information to relevant project stakeholders.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment by ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation is available.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller within the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of document control principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic document management systems (EDMS).
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
