Job description

We are looking to recruit a Document Controller to create, collate and review documents for a client based in BD11. This is a great opportunity so if you are a Document Controller with at least one year of experience, this may be the role for you!

Pay: £12.82 per hour (£25,000 per annum)

Working Hours: working hours are flexi from 7am - 5pm with a minimum of 7.5 hours a day, 37.5 per week. Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks.

Document Controller Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complete & collate documents for weekly deliveries of supports
  2. Carry out checks on documents created by peers
  3. Reviewing & updating supporting documents
  4. Managing document trackers
  5. Uploading documents to an EDMS
  6. Reporting to other departments on documents' status
  7. Updating whiteboard on document progress
  8. As built drawing checking
  9. Managing material documents
  10. Attending manufacturing meetings
  11. Giving regular document updates to the client
  12. Working within an ISO 9001 framework
Education and Skills:
  1. A-Level qualifications or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in Document Control specifically
  2. Excellent communication skills - ability to liaise with the client
  3. Good experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
  4. Experience of ISO 9001 standards
  5. Experience using different types of software
  6. Able to use your own initiative to complete & prioritise your own workload
  7. Good administrative & organisational skills
  8. Able to work well under pressure
  9. Maintain high levels of confidentiality
  10. Good time management
  11. Ability to multitask
