Document Control Specialist

Your role:

  • Providing support for Document Control to authors, producing lean Quality System documents and records, and ensuring proper quality of the content of documentation and records.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Document Control processes and tools in scope.
  • Use metrics to manage a proper document review process to ensure the document management system is efficient & effective, with all available documents being the latest revision.
  • Maintain the document management system & document registers to enable fast retrieval of documents and records with correct issuance of document numbers.
  • Ensure proper document classification, sorting, filing, and archiving in accordance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with and gain cooperation of cross-functional teams.
  • This role offers hybrid working from our vibrant & exciting new offices in Farnborough, Hampshire. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.

You’re right for this role if you have:

  • Related experience in change control or document control, with review and editing of content/copy and correct revision control.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Previous experience in a regulated environment, ideally medical devices, but applications from other industries where content accuracy is crucial are welcome.
  • Confidence working with MS Office tools and Document Control Tools.
