Overview

Document Controller

A Document Controller is required to work for a Main Contractor in West London.

This contractor has a reputation for delivering major construction projects across the country with a network of regional offices. They work on exciting, innovative projects including Residential affordable housing and mix-use schemes, with a turnover reaching £1.5 billion.

Salary: £28,000

Location: West London

  • Experience Document Controller within the construction industry.

  • Ability to manage and own document control process for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to work under own initiative and maintain attention to detail at all times
  • Highly professional, well presented, reliable, punctual and responsible

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain detailed and accurate electronic drawing registers at all times for multiple projects.
  • Review all issued drawings for quality, version and change control before releasing to Project Director for final review
  • Creation of accurate distribution lists and prompt onward distribution of approved drawings to all relevant parties
  • Set up and maintain all project related filing ensuring it is up-to-date at all times
  • Manage archive filing process for all completed projects
  • Produce and print site signage at the request of site staff
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports including typing dictated or hand written notes and final formatting, printing and binding for presentation
  • Collate information and prepare Operations and Maintenance manuals for projects under the guidance of the Project Director and/or Assistant Project Manager
  • Assist in the preparation of PQQ’s and Tender Returns including typing dictated or hand written words and final formatting, printing and binding for presentation
  • Maintain up-to-date accident statistic register
  • Monitor and file all project related emails
