A Legal Document Automation Manager opportunity has come up with a London-based Law Firm to join their team working on Legal Tech innovation.

About the Legal Document Automation Manager opportunity:

  • You will join a team focused on firm-wide cutting-edge innovation within the Legal Tech space and will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in Legal Document Automation to bring about pioneering change in the company.
  • This role is suitable for someone curious about innovation in legal tech. You will be responsible for the overall Document Automation strategy and will have the freedom to explore and recommend new ways of optimizing Document Automation using technology (e.g., new platform integrations, building holistic solutions).
  • The firm is embracing GenAI, and you will have the opportunity to participate in related projects, particularly regarding its impact on Legal Document Automation. You will regularly present insights on what GenAI means for Document Automation and make recommendations to leverage technological advancements.
  • In addition to internal Legal Document Automation projects, you will manage external relationships with Document Automation third-party vendors for software and service provision.
  • You will have responsibility for a Document Automation developer, so leadership experience or interest is required. This is a hands-on role within a lean innovation team, so comfort with Document Automation development (e.g., creating templates, managing change requests) is essential.

Skills required for the Legal Document Automation Manager position:

  • Expertise in developing Legal Document Automation products (e.g., HotDocs, Contract Express, or similar)
  • A passion for driving innovation in legal tech processes, especially related to Document Automation
  • Experience working on IT innovation projects in Legal Tech within a professional services environment

This role has a global scope and offers remote work options, with an expectation to be in London once a month for stakeholder engagement, team meetings, and direct supervision of the Document Automation Developer.
