  • Ensure compliance with City of Cambridge guidelines.
  • Act as a point of contact for deliveries and residents.

Position Summary
The Dock Attendant & Bike Room Attendant ensures the seamless operation and organization of the loading dock, deliveries, and bike room facilities, contributing to a well-maintained and welcoming environment for residents and staff. This role requires excellent organization, attention to detail, and a strong sense of hospitality.

Shifts: Part-Time/Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Loading Dock: Ensure the loading dock area is clean, organized, and free of obstructions. Monitor and coordinate vendor and delivery access to avoid congestion.
  • Manage Deliveries: Receive, log, and organize deliveries for residents and property management. Coordinate communication with residents for package pickups.
  • Assist with Move-In and Move-Out: Facilitate a smooth process for resident move-ins and move-outs. Provide directions and support for vendor access during moving activities.
  • Oversee Public Bike Room: Monitor and maintain the public bike room to ensure security and organization. Assist residents with bike storage access and related inquiries.
  • Compliance with City of Cambridge Guidelines: Ensure operations align with local regulations and standards for bike storage and loading dock use.
  • General Responsibilities: Act as a point of contact for deliveries, residents, and vendors. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to property management promptly. Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor at all times.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for package handling
