Job summary

Hiscox is creating a new Data Loss Prevention (DLP) function and seeks a Team Lead to own the organisation's data protection across network, endpoint, cloud, and email environments. You will shape the DLP strategy, policy frameworks, and optimise current technologies including Zscaler DLP, Microsoft Purview, and Mimecast.

You will lead the DLP SME role, supervise alert operations, and build a small DLP Analysts team to support day-to-day activities, working with privacy, legal, and security

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading DLP programs across multiple control points.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data classification frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing DLP policies across endpoints, web, email, and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature the organisation's DLP capability across web, email, AI, and cloud platforms.
• Define operating model, processes, and standards for DLP across Zscaler, Purview, and Mimecast.
• Oversee DLP alerts and incident escalation; build and lead a small team of DLP Analysts.
• Lead SME guidance on DLP capabilities and provide training to internal teams.
