Job Title: Divisional Supervisor - Electrical

Salary: £40,000.00 per annum

Benefits: Company Vehicle, company pension scheme, BUPA (single cover), 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).

Hours: 40 hours a week

Travel: This role requires regional travel throughout Wales & West England. Travel is not daily, and you will plan your own diary. It is a supervisory role, managing a maintenance team, suitable for candidates transitioning from technical roles to management.

We are advertising this role on behalf of our client, City Facilities Management, established in 1985 and one of the world's largest privately held, integrated FM companies.

Job Purpose

The Divisional Maintenance Supervisor supports the Division Operations Manager in technical knowledge, reporting, and coordination in areas such as project work, productivity reporting, compliance, and budget control.

Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Complete mandatory training and modules.
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance documentation and report concerns.
  • Optimize team performance.
  • Attend training to stay current with technical developments.
  • Support the Divisional Operations Manager on technical and process issues.
  • Provide cover for the Area Maintenance Manager as needed.
  • Identify faults and advise on replacements.
  • Report repair issues and ensure actions are recorded.
  • Conduct surveys and reports as required.
  • Monitor and update the Mercury system.
  • Support spend and budget processes.
  • Manage the lighting team and liaise with the National Small Works Manager.
  • Log material spending and support procurement for value.
Candidate Background & Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent & 18th edition in electrical installation/maintenance.
  • Experience with 3-phase electrics.
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Experience managing a maintenance team.
  • Support for electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • High-quality repairs and maintenance skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies.
