We are looking for an experienced and driven Divisional Head of Agricultural and Construction Sales to join our leadership team at our Head Office in Maldon, Essex.
Role Purpose:
Reporting to our Sales Director, you will be responsible for the management and efficient operation of Ernest Doe and Sons Ltd Agricultural and Construction sales business. You will attend monthly senior management meetings as part of the general manager and director team.
The role focus will be on driving and supporting a large sales operation to seek and deliver sales of new and used Agricultural machinery to include Tractors, Telehandlers, Combines, Big Balers, cultivation equipment, trailers, hedge cutters etc from our key suppliers CNH, Lemken, Shelbourne Reynolds, Maschio, Richard Western to name but a few. In addition, holding the responsibility for negotiating terms, stock holding and marketing of all our agricultural wholegood brands.
You would be expected to work with our CNH Brand Managers, along with Branch Managers and 30 Agricultural and Construction Area Sales Managers, from our 21 branches, so as to identify and target customers with the end result focused on increasing our CNH market shares and indeed the shares of all our suppliers, plus making sure customer satisfaction is maintained and indeed enhanced.
You will also work with our successful construction sales team, and leading brands such as Hyundai, Thwaites, Bomag, and Atlas Copco. To achieve this a close working relationship with our service and parts departments must be maintained. During the harvest period you would also oversee a demonstration team manager acting as a backstop to make sure customer issues are dealt with by our team, including managing the release and return of loan machines for key customers.
The successful applicant will be expected to uphold and further the company’s strong reputation for reliable, honest, and effective sales and aftersales.
