Divisional Finance Director, Leeds/Sheffield - Exclusive Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Divisional Finance Director to join a highly acquisitive business with a revenue in excess of £100M. This rapidly growing organisation is looking for a dynamic and commercially astute finance leader to take full ownership of the divisional P&L, drive operational efficiencies, and play a key role in M&A activities.

About the Role:
As the Divisional Finance Director, you will be at the forefront of shaping the financial strategy of the division, overseeing a team of three finance professionals, and working closely with senior leadership. The role offers a great mix of strategic leadership, M&A integration, and commercial decision-making, with a clear focus on driving profitability through effective pricing strategies, cost management, and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the divisional P&L, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is maximized.
• Lead the M&A process, from due diligence to post-acquisition integration and performance tracking.
• Provide financial insights and support to senior management and business partners, helping to guide key commercial decisions.
• Manage a team of three finance professionals, supporting their development and fostering a high-performance culture.
• Continuously improve financial processes, reporting, and controls to support the growing business.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working in B2B service sector would be beneficial
• Strong expertise in pricing, cost management, and driving productivity improvements to enhance margins.
• Proven leadership ability with experience managing finance teams and developing talent.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a solid technical finance background and a strong commercial outlook.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with senior business leaders and non-financial stakeholders.
