A forward-thinking printing company is seeking an ambitious and highly energetic individual to take on a key commercial management role within their print management division.

This Divisional Commercial Manager role will focus on developing and executing commercial strategies to drive revenue, market share, and profitability. The role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, market analysis, and leadership skills to achieve and exceed business objectives through well-defined commercial plans. You will be responsible for monitoring and continuously driving the achievement of these commercial performance objectives in line with the overall strategy.

A broad range of interactions will be required with both internal and external stakeholders, balancing commercial returns through judicious pricing, operational efficiency, material optimisation via supplier negotiation, and good cost control to meet profitability targets.

Main duties include:
  1. Manage the Estimating and Commercial Analyst functions.
  2. Price estimates in conjunction with set price parameters.
  3. Review and improve existing department methods of operation.
  4. Analyse the supply chain and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible pricing.
  5. Implement effective changes across the teams as necessary, working with the company’s MIS in support.
  6. Communicate clearly across all areas of the business regarding commercial profitability and production capacity.
