A local police authority in Swindon is seeking an individual to handle the archiving of crime files and perform administrative duties within the Criminal Justice department. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with experience in handling confidential information. An opportunity has arisen for a bright, enthusiastic, person with good interpersonal and relational skills to join the Wiltshire Police, Criminal Justice department. The role is based at Swindon with a requirement at times to work at either Melksham or Salisbury. A work vehicle can be used when available.

The primary focus of this role is to be the divisional custodian for the archiving of all crime files. Also, when required, to undertake all administrative duties in respect of files and related matters within the operational support services department, ensuring that all time scales are complied with and that both local and national file standards and targets are consistently met. Some lifting and working at height are required. Training will be provided for this role.
