Overview
The Senior D&I Specialist role is a six-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension based on business needs. This is a London-based role, with a hybrid working model and opportunity to travel across EMEA as business requires (approximately 10-20%).

Responsibilities
- Support the EMEA D&I Director in developing executive-level reports and presentations that communicate D&I progress and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with business leaders, global D&I colleagues, and cross-functional teams to design and implement inclusive practices across the employee lifecycle in EMEA
- Partner with EMEA country D&I leads to develop location-specific implementation plans that respect local contexts and regulatory frameworks
- Utilize data analytics to inform EMEA D&I strategies, assess program effectiveness, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Conduct research and benchmarking against industry leaders to enhance AlixPartners\' competitive positioning in the D&I landscape
- Transform complex D&I metrics into actionable insights that support senior leadership decision-making
- Work seamlessly with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Employee Resource Groups to integrate D&I principles into core business processes
- Lead strategic projects requiring project management expertise and stakeholder coordination across multiple business units
- Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions that promote inclusive leadership behaviours and cultural transformation
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of progressive D&I experience within professional services, financial services, or comparable multinational environments
- Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and measuring D&I initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders in complex organizational environments
- Strong understanding of EMEA regulatory frameworks, including GDPR implications, gender pay reporting requirements, and regional compliance considerations
- Experience adapting D&I strategies to diverse EMEA markets while navigating cultural and regulatory variations
- Background working within matrix organizations with multiple country operations and varying regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data interpretation and translating insights into strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Project management expertise with demonstrated success managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously
- Strategic thinking with the ability to connect D&I initiatives to broader business objectives and measurable outcomes
- Proven ability to build trust and credibility quickly with diverse stakeholders
- Strong facilitation skills for leading complex discussions across cultural contexts
- Experience in change management and organizational development within global environments
- Knowledge of D&I measurement frameworks, benchmarking methodologies, and impact analysis
- Understanding of inclusive recruitment, performance management, and succession planning practices
- Familiarity with Employee Resource Group governance and optimization strategies
- High emotional intelligence and sensitivity across diverse cultural contexts
- Ability to navigate organizational complexity and competing priorities effectively
- Collaborative approach that builds consensus while maintaining accountability for results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages will be an asset.
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment, with flexibility for cross-time zone collaboration

Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.
