Job Description: Provide coverage for Teachers, Ed Techs and Nurses on an as needed basis throughout the district, grade levels, and content areas.
Qualifications:

• Maine Department of Education valid fingerprinting and CHRC approval.
• Must have 60 or more College credits.

Pay Scale:

Non-Certified: $130/day
Teacher Certified: $145/day
Nurse Substitute: $180/day

Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered. Selection Procedure: All candidates for substitute teaching will be screened for an interview with Human Resources. Applicants not providing a copy of CHRC will not be considered. Interviews are conducted periodically throughout the year depending on need and schedule availability. The process from application to interview may take several weeks.
