2 X District Trainer opportunities based in Victoria.

We're looking for an experienced District Trainer who will maintain high standards of themselves and their teams. The District Trainer will drive retail excellence by elevating the capabilities, bench strength, and engagement of our retail leaders and teams.

PURPOSE & IMPACT ON ORGANIZATION :

Contribute to store profitability by :

  • Meeting or exceeding sales and KPI targets within the store through learning and development.
  • Leading training and development in the store by providing a best-in-class onboarding and training program to ensure employees are fully knowledgeable in all areas of their role.
  • Providing a business partner service to the Store Manager, District Manager, and store team to deliver all business training projects in full and on time in collaboration with the Market, Hub, and GSA Training function to ensure excellence in execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Plan, drive, and support the implementation of all retail training programs and platforms (e.g., Connect, Engage, Inspire (CEI), Every Moment Matters, AREA, ATTICUS, Seasonal Product Learning, etc.) by creating and/or leading inspiring workshops for the store team to ensure successful execution.
  • Create a professional, high-performance culture by upskilling, coaching, and supporting Training Champs, Store Management Team, and subject specialists within the District to deliver best-in-class training standards through effective communication methods (training sessions, online tools, training tools, Thinktime, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyze performance data and make necessary adjustments to drive commercial success, primarily within learning and development.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador, consistently exhibiting the Brand Attitude and Values.
  • Collaborate with the PAC Sales Academy to ensure best practice and compliance when delivering training initiatives, providing feedback on content and implementation to ensure alignment across cluster, market, and global levels.
  • Supervise and support the team to ensure all customers receive an optimal service level at all times.
  • Support store operations including Visual Merchandising, In-Store Communication standards, merchandise delivery management, organized stockroom, direct sales floor replenishment, and loss prevention procedures.
  • Plan and implement engaging onboarding programs for new joiners, in alignment with Store and District Managers. Support the delivery of new store openings with new teams.
  • Support Market Retail Learning strategies through coaching and supporting the Retail In-store Learning Team within the District.
  • Share best practices to enhance overall store team performance and market Retail Learning strategy.

KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Stepping into Management Competencies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a sports/fashion retail environment with a focus on customer service, sales, and product knowledge, along with supervisory experience.
  • Intermediate numeracy and literacy, with advanced verbal communication skills.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :

  • Proven experience in influencing peers and superiors.
  • Experience in delivering training workshops and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of adidas brand and retail KPIs, Profit and Loss, and store operations.
  • Experience working in retail, with a drive to meet and exceed KPI targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
