Qualifications
- NMC registered first level nurse with current registration.
- District Nursing qualifications and/or working towards relevant specialist status.
- Nurse prescribing qualification or working towards.
- Evidence of ongoing education and professional development.
- Mentorship and assessment training or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality community care within a caseload.
- Work under the Band 7 Team Leader and alongside the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical governance and patient records.
- Demonstrate effective communication with patients, carers and colleagues.
- Undertake continued professional development and mentorship tasks.
