District Nurse - Community Services, Ashburton
  • Ashburton Hospital, Ashburton
  • Permanent part-time 0.6FTE position available for a District Nurse, Community Services
  • Must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC

About the role

As a District Nurse, you will work both autonomously and as part of a team alongside other District Nurses. Based in Ashburton Hospital, this service operates in collaborative partnership with the hospital and wider community services.

This role involves some day, evening, and weekend work.

About You

The role includes, but is not limited to, wound care, intravenous antibiotics, and palliative care. You will be required to travel throughout the Mid Canterbury region to care for patients with various nursing needs.

Skills and experience

  • A current NZ Registered or Enrolled Nurse with an Annual Practising Certificate.
