District Manager - Retail Operations
Salary: £49,000 basic + up to 40% annual bonus
Package: Company car or £6,000 car allowance, private healthcare, pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
We're hiring a high-performing District Manager to join our client's growing business. This is a great opportunity to step into a fast-paced, commercially driven role where you'll lead multiple stores, support a team of managers, and drive operational and sales excellence.
The Role
As District Manager, you'll take full ownership of performance across a group of sites, guiding store teams to exceed targets and deliver outstanding customer service. You'll also play a key role in coaching, succession planning, and delivering on strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and their teams
- Monitor and improve district-wide sales, KPIs, and customer metrics
- Contribute to hiring and succession planning across the region
- Analyse store performance, customer trends, and operational data
- Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and financial controls
- Plan staffing, rotas, and training needs to meet business objectives
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years' experience in a multi-site retail management role
- Strong people leader with a commercial mindset
- Confident with sales performance analysis and improvement
- Proficient in MS Office and operational reporting tools
- Ambitious, adaptable, and ready to grow with the business
