Your team
Reporting to the Head of Operations for GB Retail, the District Manager will be responsible for leading a team to exceed the target of a multi-million pound turnover business across approx. 27 sites within London & East of England. You will inspire, motivate and train your people to be the best they can be and deliver the Paddy Power vision of being the most fun, fair and customer centric bookmaker on the planet.

What you’ll do

1. Lead change across your district in a planned, customer-centric way, being visible and proactive in your shops at least three days a week. Conduct standards checks, support product knowledge, and ensure shop profitability through close management of P&Ls.
2. Manage the implementation of change and new initiatives within your area.
3. Motivate and energize your teams to achieve business goals, actively driving improved colleague engagement scores through effective planning and people management.
4. Promote Safer Gambling within your district, collaborating with local representatives as needed, and ensure licenses are protected.

How you’ll do it

1. Experience in change management and a people-first leadership style. Proven leadership through significant change and field management experience.
2. Experience in designing and implementing new concepts in retail, especially in self-service environments, is desirable but not essential.
3. Join a supportive environment with diverse expertise, open to sharing best practices.

This is a field-based role, requiring work from shops across your district at least 3 days a week, with the option to work from home on other days. Occasional work from our Blackfriars office may be required. Working hours will include Mon - Sun, with some evenings.
