Wakefield Council is seeking Casual Aquatics Instructors to join our dynamic team across five leisure facilities in Wakefield District. In this role, you will provide essential support for our school swimming programme while being a primary deliverer of our Learn to Swim initiative.

The ideal candidate will have the necessary swim teaching qualifications, proven experience in lesson delivery, and strong communication skills. Join us to make a meaningful difference and help residents become confident and safe in water.

Qualifications

• Relevant swim teaching qualifications are essential.
• Experience in delivering lessons across different stages of a Learn to Swim programme is required.
• Ability to work with children in a fun and engaging manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of swimming lessons at five leisure facilities.
• Provide support within the school swimming programme.
• Travel around the district to various sites as needed.
