Distributor Sales Manager - Special Purpose Machinery

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £70,000-£75,000 base + OTE (six-figure package)

This business designs and manufactures world-class, application-specific machinery that sets the standard for defect-free production. Their equipment is trusted by some of the best-known brands worldwide, and as they continue to expand, they're looking for a talented Channel Sales Manager to help drive growth across their international distributor network.

What you'll be doing

In this exciting role, you\'ll work closely with distributors and agents around the globe, providing the tools, training, and technical expertise they need to succeed. You\'ll support them on customer visits, help them sharpen their sales strategies, and ensure they deliver maximum value to end users. With 40% international travel, you\'ll have the chance to build relationships across global markets and truly make your mark on the business.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and developing international distributor and agent partnerships to drive sales growth.
  • Delivering training, technical guidance, and sales support to enhance distributor performance.
  • Attending customer meetings to support solution selling and increase margins.
  • Driving growth in global markets while representing a premium, quality-first product portfolio.
Qualifications
  • A track record of improving sales performance through distributor and agent management.
  • Experience selling bespoke capital equipment, special purpose machinery, or factory automation.
  • Strong exposure to end-user manufacturing customers in at least one of these sectors:
    • Electronics / PCBa / SMT
    • Coating & Converting
    • Web Print / Packaging / Security Print
    • EV Battery / Printed Electronics
