Exciting Opportunity: Distributor Account Manager - Safety Footwear

Location: Wellingborough HQ (Hybrid working)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE + OTE

Our client is looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to join their team as a Distributor Account Manager. If you have experience in B2B product sales, ideally within PPE or safety footwear, and enjoy building consultative partnerships that drive real sales growth, this role offers a fantastic career opportunity.

About the Role

You will be the key contact for established distributor partners, maintaining and strengthening these relationships to maximise promotion and sales of our client's safety footwear products. You will deliver technical briefings, support distributor enablement, collaborate on joint marketing initiatives, and identify opportunities to grow and activate distributor accounts.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and nurture long-term relationships with distributor partners

* Deliver clear, engaging technical product training focused on benefits such as slip resistance and grip innovation

* Act as the main point of contact for distributors, supporting their sales efforts and understanding their needs

* Collaborate on joint marketing campaigns and co-branded initiatives to increase product visibility and sales

* Coordinate business reviews, events, and campaign reporting to optimise partnership success

* Identify opportunities for account expansion and confidently introduce new products to distributor channels

* Support smooth onboarding of new distributors while upholding the brand's values

* Capture and report market intelligence, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy

The Ideal Candidate

* Proven experience in B2B sales of physical products, with a consultative, relationship-driven approach

* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, able to listen and tailor solutions to distributor needs

* Confident communicator with the ability to deliver impactful technical training

* Experienced in market research and new product introductions within distributor networks

* Commercially driven and resilient, comfortable managing multiple accounts and targets

* Autonomous and organised, thriving in a hybrid working environment

* Experience in distributor or account management roles within safety footwear, PPE, or related sectors is highly desirable

* Skilled in joint marketing initiatives and managing co-branded campaigns
