Purpose of the role

The DCS is responsible for leading and ensuring all daily site requirements are met. Leading by example and empowering team members to uphold high standards of safety, service, and compliance across the site. The DCS also fosters an inclusive culture, embedding Movianto Values.

This role focuses on operational compliance, adhering to standard operating procedures, health and safety regulations, and transport legislation.

How you'll make an impact as a Distribution Centre Supervisor at Movianto
  • Manage daily site operations, including route building, maintaining the Depot Dashboard, managing scanning, and assuming DCM responsibilities as needed.
  • Create a best-in-class environment aligned with Movianto Values.
  • Establish high health and safety standards and ensure SOP compliance.
  • Monitor systems (Verilocation, TMS, Convey, Fleet Check).
  • Provide operational performance reports.
  • Coordinate vehicle scheduling and ensure timely services.
  • Foster strong inter-department relationships to optimize performance.
  • Prioritize HR activities, including managing absences and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead, motivate, and engage your team to achieve success.
  • Analyze KPI data for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records via iTrent (HR system).
Requirements to thrive as a Distribution Centre Supervisor at Movianto
  • UK driving license.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transport operational systems.
  • Knowledge of CPC or advanced transport legislation.
  • Proven leadership and logistics experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in a medical or pharmaceutical environment (desirable).
