Job description

On behalf of our client, Nrl Recruitment are looking for a Distribution Team Leader, for work based in either Walkden or Carrington Greater Manchester.

Location: Walkden or Carrington
Hours: 47 p/w
Rate: £15.96p/h + Hol Pay = £18.36p/h PAYE (equivalent to £39k gross salary)
Duration: Initially 6 months 25/08/2025 - 24/02/2026 - (with potential for becoming permanent in future, subject to performance and business needs).

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience of Distribution with working knowledge of Transport Legislation
Experience in Supervising a team
Experience of building relationships with Industrial Relations Representatives
Transport Manager Certificate Professional Competence is preferred but not essential
Driver Licence /ADR and Driver CPC is preferred but not essential
Must be proficient in MS Office, (training will be provided for other software).
A high commitment to safety standards, demonstrating strong leadership in adhering to safety protocols.
