A leading clean energy solutions provider in the UK is seeking a part-time Distribution Service Engineer. You will contribute to the growth of sustainable energy solutions by managing hotline systems, delivering training, and providing technical support. Ideal candidates have a degree in electrical engineering and fluency in English. This position offers a one-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English (minimum C1 level) is required.
  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office are necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver reports regarding the region's performance to the department center.
  • Manage the hotline ticketing system for distributors and users.
  • Conduct on-site troubleshooting with the partner success manager.

Responsibilities
  • You\'ll regularly deliver reports regarding the region\'s performance to the department center
  • You\'ll manage the hotline ticketing system for distributors, installers and end users
  • You\'ll deliver technical training, create online courses and documentation
  • You\'ll conduct on-site troubleshooting with the partner success manager
  • You\'ll perform pre-sales customer visits with the key account manager
  • You\'ll support commissioning and project management of C&I ESS projects in the region
  • 38 hours a week
  • One year contract with possibility of extension
Requirements
  • Fluency in English (minimum C1 level)
  • Degree in electrical engineering or an electrician background
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced multicultural environment
Ideal candidates
  • 2 years of experience as technical support / after sales for PV / ESS or O&M
  • Languages skills in Chinese (Mandarin) is not mandatory but preferred
  • Knowledge of the solar energy market in Europe
