Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a Distribution Operative to support Unilever and third-party contractors with efficient operations across postal, parcel, courier, counter services and forklift operations.

You will work as part of a team delivering laundry management, small moves, and general housekeeping, plus meter readings and skip-area maintenance.

Flexibility to pitch in with other tasks and a hands-on approach will help you thrive in this busy role.

Responsibilities

• Provide postal and parcel services, courier services, and counter services.
• Manage laundry operations and forklift truck services as needed.
• Assist with small moves (churn) and general housekeeping.
• Record cottage utility meter readings and maintain skip areas.

Job description

We’re currently looking to recruit a Distribution Operative who will deliver efficient and effective operations support service to Unilever and third-party contractors. You will be working as part of a team to provide postal and parcel services, courier services, counter services, laundry management, and forklift truck services.

You will also be involved in small moves (churn) and general housekeeping, cottage utility meter readings and maintaining the skip areas. This is a busy role, and you will be willing to pitch in with other tasks as required to support your manager and the team.
