Hain Celestial UK - Distribution Operative Role

Hain Celestial UK is currently recruiting for a Distribution Operative at our Clitheroe site, where we manufacture traditional hot puddings under our Farmhouse Fare brand and private label puddings.

Working Hours: Evening shifts, Monday to Friday, from 3:00 PM to midnight (15:00 - 00:00).

The Role

The role involves accepting and dispatching goods, managing the movement of goods across the site, liaising with departments, maintaining housekeeping, and accurately recording stock movements. The jobholder reports to the distribution supervisor and follows assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate receipt of goods, checking against delivery notes, and issuing Goods Received Numbers.
• Booking goods onto the Movex system, ensuring use-by dates are followed.
• Preparing dispatch paperwork with correct product codes and quantities.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Distribution Manager.
• Coordinating with production to ensure timely dispatch.
• Communicating with delivery drivers and managing vehicle loading/unloading.
• Counting, checking, and storing stock appropriately.
• Recording deliveries in the Movex system.
• Operating FLT and Reach trucks.
• Managing warehouse movements and transfers.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in warehouse and site areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse/distribution roles.
• Basic numerical and computer skills.
• Organized team player.
