A leading food & drink wholesaler is seeking a Distribution Network Projects Manager to oversee capital projects across multiple distribution centres. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery within budget, manage relationships with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement efforts. A strong project management background and experience with large construction projects are essential. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of the distribution network with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
As Distribution Network Projects Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across nine Booker distribution centres. These will include a mix of infrastructure and facilities improvement projects, alongside broader operational change and improvement initiatives. Each project will aim to enhance operational performance, improve safety, and create long-term value.
You will work closely with site leadership, central teams, and external partners to scope and deliver projects on time and within budget. Ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and Group standards will be central to your role.
In addition to your project responsibilities, you will manage the relationship with the wider Group Maintenance Team, who are responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and operational functionality of our estate. Together, you will ensure all sites remain safe, compliant, and efficient—supporting uninterrupted logistics operations and continuous improvement.
This role is instrumental in shaping the future of our distribution network, balancing strategic investment and improvement with operational excellence.
