Description and Requirements

Do you like to communicate with customers? Do you work with enthusiasm and possess sound phone skills? Join our growing Distribution team as our Inside Sales Representative!


A key part of Lenovo’s growth strategy is to focus on developing strategic Partnerships with Distributors within the IT Channel. Using your passion for IT and the training we provide you will be a significant part of this strategy. Working as Inside Sales Representative you will have daily communication with C-level executives from your aligned Distribution Partners, which makes the position perfect for building a good network and advancing your career.

These are your detailed responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with your Lenovo Distribution Team to deliver on strategic objectives set out in partnership with your Distribution partner
  • Analysing data and driving business optimisation of tools
  • Handling team operational requirements
  • Be the point of UK contact with the Lenovo Central Support function
  • Assisting with customer queries and dispute handling
  • Support function for order processing on Lenovo stocked products held by your Distribution partner
  • Ensuring Lenovo products are priced in line with market conditions to push the continued sale of Lenovo products in line with aged and weeks of inventory metrics
  • Owning specific tasks & incentives associated with the joint quarterly marketing plans
  • Fostering relationships within your Distribution partner to maintain Lenovo mindshare and deliver on our joint growth aspirations

Organisation
You will report to the Distribution Sales Manager. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.

Position Requirements

  • Customer focused, proven ability to deliver exceptional solutions beyond customer expectations.
  • Able to articulate customer needs, build strong, beneficial relationships.
  • Proven negotiation skills in closing significant business
  • Energetic, self-motivated, proactive and highly sales driven attitude with a strong ability to be persuasive and close deals.
  • Structured with strong time management skills, able to work under pressure and quick to adapt to change.
  • Works well in a team environment, strong team player with respect for the individual.
  • It would be beneficial to have an understanding of Resellers, Distributors, vendors and the IT sector.
