Job summary

Home Bargains is recruiting a Distribution Centre Cleaner for our Amesbury facility in Wiltshire. The role involves general cleaning duties within a large, automated distribution centre that runs 24/7. The current shift is 6am–2pm, Monday to Friday, with full training provided.

You will be a brand ambassador for the site, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and supporting a safe, efficient operation. Prior cleaning experience is not essential, and full training will be given.

Qualifications

• Be a company ambassador and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Carry out general warehouse cleaning using floor scrubbing machines.
• Lead by example and support the team toward targets.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Be proactive, flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
• No prior experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Be a Company ambassador, creating a welcoming atmosphere for colleagues and customers
• Complete general warehouse cleaning duties including: using floor scrubbing machines cleaning the warehouse ground floor and mezzanine levels
• Lead by example and support and motivate team members Work towards achievement of targets
• Follow instruction and adhere to health and safety procedures
• Proactive, flexible and adaptable
• Open-minded and willing to take on new challenges
• Hardworking and reliable
• Friendly – must be welcoming, supportive and appropriately responsive

• Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided although experience in industrial cleaning is preferable
