Job Description:

A large fire and security distributor is looking for regional Business Development Managers (BDMs) to join their team. The role involves selling CCTV and other security solutions to the installer and integrator marketplace.

The coverage area includes the South West, South Wales, Wiltshire, and surrounding regions.

The role involves managing existing accounts and developing new ones. Experience in CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and fire safety is highly desirable. Candidates with a background in distribution or manufacturing industries, especially those who have sold technology hardware rather than software solutions, will be considered. A telecoms background with an interest in learning security solutions is also a plus.

The ideal candidate is driven, focused on new business development, and capable of managing sizable accounts. They will be provided with a set of existing accounts and will work with the local branch to target new business opportunities. Strong presentation skills are required.

Compensation includes a negotiable basic salary depending on experience, along with a good OTE.
