Refractal is hiring a Systems Engineer to own the services and infrastructure that keep our AI security platform secure and reliable in production. You will work across enforcement runtime, data integrity, tenant isolation, agent tracing, model services and cloud infra.

You will build systems that connect activity across agents, services and tools, evaluate risk, and preserve evidence behind them. Expect ownership, latency focus, and scalable security engineering in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Strong experience with backend, distributed, or infrastructure systems.
• Production observability and tracing experience, ideally with OpenTelemetry.
• Experience building responsive services under load with proper timeout/retry/backpressure.
• Experience with Postgres, Row-Level Security and multi-tenant access-control testing.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate a low-latency runtime enforcement pipeline with predictable failure behaviour.
• Own observability and tracing across agent actions, tool calls, model calls, and enforcement decisions.
• Build tamper-evident evidence storage and enforce multi-tenant isolation through data paths.
• Create reliable event and streaming services with safe load handling, retries and backpressure.
• Build infrastructure for red-team workloads, evaluation tasks, and model-serving services.
• Own cloud infra, CD, secrets, artefact verification, and production trust boundaries.
