Job description

We have been instructed by an elite US firm seeking to hire a Junior Associate for their Litigation & Arbitration team.

The practice is ranked (Chambers and L500) for their high-end Commercial and Corporate Disputes exposure and is currently led by a renowned female partner specializing in shareholder disputes. The team is well known for providing high-profile advice to clients across sectors such as asset management/private equity, technology, financial institutions, energy, and funds, handling a wide range of disputes, including:

  1. Shareholder and JV disputes, contractual claims, and unfair prejudice;
  2. HKIAC, ICC, LCIA, LMAA, UNCITRAL, SIAC, ICSID, and LME arbitration;
  3. Technology and IP litigation.

The firm boasts a strong advocacy presence, with team members who are qualified barristers or hold Higher Rights of Audience qualifications, enabling them to litigate high-profile cases. Additionally, the team emphasizes pro bono and corporate responsibility work, with dedicated members leading initiatives to provide legal services to charities and NGOs.

Requirements:

  • UK-trained and qualified or Common Law qualified with at least one year of experience in London;
  • Experience at top-ranked dispute practices;
  • Between 2 and 3 years of post-qualification experience.
