Job summary

BWS Law in Loughborough is seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join the growing team. The role is suitable for a solicitor from newly qualified up to around 8 years’ PQE, with responsibilities tailored to experience.

You will handle a broad range of civil litigation and contentious matters, managing your own caseload and dealing directly with clients. The firm emphasises client service and practical, commercial dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales or due to qualify soon.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage own caseload and work to deadlines.
• Confident liaising directly with clients and providing high-quality service.
• Practical and commercial approach to resolving disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload across civil litigation and contentious matters.
• Provide advice and representation in disputes including landlord/tenant, property ownership and probate.
• Handle debt recovery for businesses and individuals, including court proceedings.
