Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload (with the correct supervision) of commercial disputes such as professional negligence claims, breach of contract matters, warranty disputes, and issues arising out of corporate acquisitions. The team regularly advises on shareholder and director disputes, as well as claims involving misrepresentation and other business-related disagreements. Acting for a wide range of clients, including SMEs, business owners, and professional services firms
  • Working closely with colleagues across commercial, corporate, and property teams on crossover matters
  • Preparing for and attending court hearings, mediation's, or arbitration's
  • Liaising with barristers, experts, and other professionals
  • Supporting business development through networking, content, or client relationships
  • Keeping accurate time records and ensuring good file management
Experience required
  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent (England & Wales)
  • Background of working in other regional, national or leading law firms on complex disputes is desirable.
  • Able to handle your own caseload from inception to completion with minimal to no supervision
  • Personable, friendly and a team player attitude with motivation to drive the department and your own career to success.
