Job description

The Firm

Our client is a regional firm with 5 offices based across east London and west Essex. The firm enjoys a strong reputation in the dispute resolution sector.

The firm is looking to expand their dispute resolution team and requires a Senior Associate Solicitor with 5+ years PQE to maintain the high level of service provided to clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation solicitor to join a department with diverse litigation matters, including landlord and tenant work, contentious probate, debt recovery, and property litigation.

The solicitor will manage a caseload independently and assist the Head of Department.

The Role
  • Handling property disputes
  • Managing landlord and tenant disputes (both commercial and residential)
  • Overseeing debt recovery cases

Support

The solicitor will receive support from paralegals and trainee solicitors as needed.

Candidate Characteristics
  • High standard of legal and procedural knowledge
  • Strong IT skills; familiarity with case management systems like Clio is preferable
  • Desire for professional growth and development
  • Ability to build and nurture client relationships and participate in business development
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on expanding their client base
