Job summary

Interlink Talent Solutions is seeking an Insolvency Associate to join its established Dispute Resolution team in the UK. You will work on contentious insolvency and bankruptcy matters, building a specialist practice and strong client relationships.

The role requires a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1–5 years PQE, excellent drafting and litigation skills, and a proactive, resilient approach. 25 days' annual leave and a discretionary bonus scheme are offered as part of a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1–5 years' PQE.
• Experience of insolvency litigation in the Insolvency and Companies Court and County Courts.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and matter management abilities.
• Client-focused with commercial awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Act for insolvency office holders in bankruptcy and corporate insolvency matters.
• Advise on antecedent transactions and void dispositions.
• Handle director disqualification matters and advise directors in contentious scenarios.
• Assist with administrations, pre-packs and sales through insolvency processes.
• Handle winding-up and bankruptcy petitions for debtors and creditors.
• Draft correspondence and legal documents; conduct research and prepare advice.
• Attend mediations, conferences, hearings and client meetings.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Insolvency Associate to join an established Dispute Resolution team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious insolvency and bankruptcy matters, with the opportunity to develop a specialist practice and build long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Act for insolvency office holders in both bankruptcy and corporate insolvency matters.
• Advise on antecedent transactions and void dispositions.
• Handle director disqualification matters and advise directors in the twilight zone, including defending claims brought by office holders.
• Advise on administrations, pre-packs and the sale of businesses through insolvency processes.
• Handle winding-up and bankruptcy petitions on behalf of both debtors and creditors.
• Assist with the realisation of assets, including court applications for possession of residential property.
• Draft correspondence, witness statements and other legal documentation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare advice for clients.
• Attend mediations, conferences, hearings and client meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development and networking initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, ideally with 1–5 years' PQE.
• Experience of court litigation procedures, particularly the Insolvency and Companies Court and County Courts.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and matter management abilities.
• Commercially aware with a client-focused approach.
