Job Description:

Key Duties

  1. Working hours 9:00 - 5:30pm with a 1 hour lunch break, closes at 3pm on Saturdays.
  2. Dispensing, fitting and adjusting frames.
  3. Stylizing will be part of the role and would be ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about fashion and up to date with current trends.
  4. Always have enough time to ensure patients receive a personalised service.
  5. Must be able to maintain a high level of service & positive interactions with patients at a growing clinic.

Package and Benefits

  1. Full time 5 days a week with alternating Saturdays required.
  2. Every second weekend off & on alternating weekends when a Saturday is worked.
  3. Competitive basic salary ranging between £27,000 - £31,000 DOE.
  4. No Sundays, Evenings or Bank Holidays.
  5. Holiday allowance 28 days including bank holidays.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  1. Open to optical assistance with 2 or more years' experience who have worked with varifocals & contact lens teaches in the past.
  2. Open to newly qualified Dispensing Opticians; 6 months or more experience preferred.
  3. Dispensing Opticians must be GOC registered.
  4. Must have the right to work in the UK.
  5. Previous paediatric experience would be highly valued.
  6. UK driver's licence is a must.
