Location: Weston Super Mare
Salary: From £24,000 (as a newly qualified) – salary dependent on experience + BONUS
Working Hours: Full Time or Part Time hours considered
Experience Level: Must have previous experience working in an optician and must have a GOC number.

Weston-Super-Mare, also known simply as Weston, is a seaside town in North Somerset. We are recruiting for a Dispensing Optician.

Our Dispensing Opticians are the face of our clinic on the shop floor and often part of our store management team. We’re keen to get you up to speed with management responsibilities. With ILM courses, pre-reg supervision, and the Specsavers Partnership Pathway, we can support your development into a great leader. This, along with your clinical expertise, will prepare you for future roles, possibly as a store director.

The Role in a Nutshell:

• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Liaise with Optometrists to ensure quality handovers
• Manage aftersales service, including complaints and problem-solving, with a customer-focused attitude
• Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets through effective professional sales techniques
