Job summary

Zest Optical recruitment is seeking a part-time Dispensing Optician for a Sidcup practice. Work Monday, Tuesday and Saturday with an optional extra day, in a team-focused environment with modern optical tech and patient-centered care.

Salary circa £35,000 per annum, with incentives and CET support. The role offers three or four days weekly, 9am–5:30pm, and a friendly, professional team oriented toward personalised eyewear solutions.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Dispensing Optician.
• Registered with the GOC.
• Previous experience as a Dispensing Optician.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confident advising on frames, lenses and optical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Dispense, fit and adjust a wide range of spectacles.
• Support patients with contact lens handling where required.
• Deliver a high standard of service throughout the patient journey.

Dispensing Optician vacancies in Sidcup. Zest Optical recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded independent opticians group to recruit a part-time Dispensing Optician for their established practice in Sidcup.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team with a strong focus on providing personalised eye care and exceptional service. The practice offers 45-minute eye examinations, allowing the team plenty of time to understand each patient's individual needs and recommend the most suitable eyewear and lens solutions.

The successful Dispensing Optician will work Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, with the option to work an additional fourth day. The extra day can be discussed to suit both the successful candidate and the practice.
