A leading optical retailer in Basingstoke is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Advisor for their new Regional Dispensing Hub. The role involves employing technology to efficiently dispense pharmaceuticals and assist in logistics operations. Candidates should hold a Pharmacy Advisor qualification and possess strong communication skills. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and extensive employee benefits.
The salary for this role is £13.32 per hour. This role is based on-site at the Boots Regional Dispensing Hub located above the Boots Distribution centre on Rutherford Road, Basingstoke. The site is open Monday to Saturday from 06:00-22:00. Shift patterns will include Saturdays with days off on a Sunday and another weekday (full-time).
The Boots Regional Dispensing Hub (RDH) is an advanced, semi-automated pharmacy opening September 2025 in Basingstoke. The hub is a pharmacy and logistics hybrid operation, utilising technology and automation to centrally fill repeat prescription scripts and dispatch to our stores within 24 hours of receiving the prescription. The Basingstoke Dispensing Hub will support our stores across the region, helping our healthcare teams spend more time with their patients and offer a greater range of services to their local community.
