Job summary

Superdrug in Winton, Poole is seeking a part-time Dispenser/Trainee Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The role is 17 hours per week, with shifts on Fridays and Saturdays, and focuses on counter sales and dispensing support.

No prior experience is required. If you have an NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or a keen interest in healthcare) you’ll receive training and development opportunities within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR keen interest in healthcare to begin pharmacy career.
• No prior experience required; passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.

Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We're Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required, just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
