The hourly rate for this role is £13.32 and up to £15.05 across selected locations within London.

About the Opportunity

As a Dispenser working within one of our stores, you will be a key member of our pharmacy team, supporting the pharmacist and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services.

In this role, you'll build relationships with patients, greet customers, dispense prescriptions, and provide advice on health and wellness, making a difference every day.

This position is based in-store within the UK. Remote applicants will not be considered, and applications from outside the UK will only be progressed if relevant UK qualifications and right to work can be confirmed and evidenced.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Dispensing prescriptions safely, including ordering medicines, labelling, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
  2. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to manage and deliver pharmacy services.
  3. Providing care and advice to patients about medicines and referring queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
  4. Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to support legal and safe dispensing.
  5. Staying updated with new innovations and complying with operational processes.
  6. Supporting patients in managing their prescriptions and promoting adherence to reduce waste.
  7. Working with new technologies to improve dispensing processes and patient safety.

Training and career development opportunities include training as a Pharmacy Technician or part of the store leadership team.

Qualifications and Requirements
  1. Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
  2. Current and valid UK right to work. This role does not offer sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience working in community pharmacy.
