Job description

Lime Tree Vets, Lime Trees Veterinary Hospital, Meir Park, Stoke-on-Trent, West Midlands

We’re looking for an organised, accurate and detail-driven individual to join our team as a Dispensary Technician at Lime Trees Veterinary Hospital. This new permanent position has been created to meet the needs of our busy practice and support the whole team in delivering high-quality patient care and client service.

Whether you already have experience in a veterinary or pharmacy environment or you're someone with a strong administrative background and excellent attention to detail, this is your opportunity to be part of a passionate and supportive team.

Your Role in the Team

As our Dispensary Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our dispensary is well-managed, safe, and fully stocked. You’ll work closely with clinical and support teams to provide timely medication to clients and ensure accurate lab sample management, while helping maintain a clean and efficient environment. We’ll provide the training you need – all we ask for is a commitment to quality, strong organisation, and a team-oriented mindset.

This is a position you can take ownership of and truly make your own.

Work Schedule

We’re ideally looking for someone to work 20 hours across Tuesday and Thursday (8am–7pm), but we are open to discussing up to 30 hours for the right person. This could be made up of two short 5-hour shifts or an additional 10-hour shift – let us know what works for you.

About Lime Trees Veterinary Hospital

At Lime Trees, we pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming environment. We understand that behind excellent patient care is a happy, supported team – and that’s exactly what we offer. Our culture encourages passion, professional development, and wellbeing. You’ll be working alongside experienced vets, nurses, and support staff who are dedicated to doing their best for our clients and their pets.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

Minimum 5 GCSEs at A-C or equivalent

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy

Confidence using IT systems and updating records precisely

A proactive and organised approach

An interest in animal care (experience in a veterinary setting is desirable but not essential)

We recognise that our people are fundamental to the success of our business. Investing in our people, premises, and processes is at the heart of what we do. In addition to a competitive salary of up to £19,047.60 DOE, you will benefit from:

Work Life Balance
