Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to provide leadership to the dispensary and manage a team of professionals. The role emphasizes service improvements, change management, and safe, timely patient care.

You will coordinate day-to-day dispensary operations, support a dynamic team, and ideally hold an ACT qualification or work towards it, with a 37.5-hour week and a fixed-term contract until 02 January 2028.

We are looking for an enthusiastic technician to provide leadership to our pharmacy dispensary. The post would suit a technician with prior line management experience, who is ready for a new challenge, and who can show initiative in supporting service improvements and change management.

This will be a varied role as you will support with the co-ordination of the day to day running of the dispensary to ensure the service is provided to all users in a safe and timely manner, as well as having responsibility for the managing a team of dedicated professionals.

Ideally you will hold an ACT qualification or be willing to work towards this.

Working Pattern:37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with expectation to participate in flexible working which includes weekend, late duty and bank holiday rotas as needed.
