Job description

Dispensary Assistant part time- Trainee or qualified

We are looking for part time hours - afternoons 2 to 6pm including Saturdays - 20 hours a week

We would like to expand our pharmacy team and welcome both qualified, as well and those with no prior pharmacy experience.

Community Pharmacy is a fast-paced environment suited to those who are enthusiastic and highly-motivated. Where required, full training will be provided, leading to recognised pharmacy qualifications and career progression.

Successful applicants with be familiar with working on computerised systems with the ability to work efficiently and accurately. Have interpersonal skills suited to supporting patients with queries both within the pharmacy setting as well as on the phone.

  • To actively promote pharmacy services
  • To handle prescriptions in a professional, helpful and efficient manner
  • To ensure stock levels within the retail section of the pharmacy are maintained at an optimal level
  • To ensure stock is displayed and stored appropriately
  • To maintain the public and staff retail areas in a clean and tidy manner
  • To maintain the information within the EPOS system accurately and carefully
