Job summary

McKeevers Chemists in Belfast is recruiting Dispensary Assistants for full- and part-time roles (24-40 hours per week). You will assist in dispensing medications, support customer care, and help with labeling, IT systems, and overall pharmacy operations.

You’ll work alongside pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing, maintain a welcoming environment for customers, handle calls, and participate in stock control and till procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medications with precision and care- accepting prescriptions for filing, gathering and processing labels using IT systems
• Provide top-notch customer care, informing customers on health and OTC products and services offered by the Pharmacy
• Handle telephone enquiries and provide advice while referring callers to the pharmacist when necessary
• Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure a seamless workflow
• Maintain a clean and organised dispensary environment- operate stock control including ordering and rotation of goods
• Till operation and money handling
