Dispensary Assistant

We are looking for a Part Time Dispensary Assistant to join our team at Weston Square pharmacy in Macclesfield.

The position involves working 16.33 hours per week: Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 2pm, and Saturday, 9am to 1pm (1 in 3).

The Role Will Include

1. Carrying out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist Manager.
2. Ensuring all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and promptly.
3. Responding appropriately to customer needs politely and efficiently, asking relevant questions, following Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
4. Maintaining the pharmacy to a high standard.
5. Monitoring stock levels and adjusting orders accordingly.

The Ideal Candidate Will

1. Be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services.
2. Have previous community pharmacy or retail experience.
3. Be willing to undertake relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary.
4. Deliver excellent customer service and work well as part of a team.
